The biggest difference with hand-tufted rugs lies in the manufacturing process. Unlike hand-knotted rugs, no knots are used. Using a tufting gun, the loops are "shot" directly through the underside of the rug. This allows these rugs to be produced much faster, which ultimately results in unbeatable prices.
Another advantage is the considerable freedom of creative design. Only in the final step is the pile of the carpet trimmed to the correct length.
This manufacturing process produces extremely high-quality carpets at a very affordable price that are also on the same level as classic carpets in terms of durability.
